Tivat 2025 summer event guide

Tivat Bocce Olympics. Held annually in Tivat, this traditional event continues to grow in popularity among visitors, even though it’s primarily aimed at the local community. The Bocce Olympics kicked off on July 12 and will run until August 30. With roots dating back to 1952, this year marks the 69th edition of the tournament — a celebration of community, heritage, and friendly competition.

Evenings of fish and wine. Seafood and wine lovers won’t want to miss the beloved “Riblje večeri” – traditional evenings dedicated to local fish dishes and wine. This summer, they’ll take place on July 25 in Lepetane and August 1 in Krašići, offering a perfect blend of coastal flavors and a laid-back summer vibe.

Lastovo Festival – a celebration of local heritage. Taking place on August 2, the Lastovo Festival honors the customs and traditions of Gornja Lastva, a cultural gem of the Tivat region. The celebration includes traditional music performed by the Tivat City Band, and locals join in to dance the traditional kolo in front of the Church of Saint Mary — a heartfelt tribute to community and identity.

Neda Ukraden live concert. On August 7, head down to the Pine promenade for a live concert by regional music icon Neda Ukraden. A night of timeless hits and sea breeze promises an unforgettable summer memory in the heart of Tivat.

Kolo without borders. 5th International Children’s Folklore Festival – Kolo without borders. Bringing together children aged 7 to 15 from Montenegro and abroad, this vibrant three-day event celebrates traditional dance, music, and culture. The program includes a city parade, the traditional Abrum, performances in Luštica Bay, and a colorful festival procession. The festival will take place from August 21 to 24.

Urban Wolf Race Kids 2025. Designed as a mini adventure for the youngest participants, Urban Wolf Race Kids 2025 is a unique OCR combining sport, fun, and team spirit. The race will be held on August 23 in the Big City Park, offering an active day for kids and families.

Mariza live concert. On August 24, the Pine promenade will host a special evening with Mariza, one of Portugal’s most renowned fado singers.

Isak Šabanović live. Popular Montenegrin singer Isak Šabanović will perform on August 25, also at the Pine promenade. Audiences can expect an energetic set filled with familiar hits, adding even more sparkle to Tivat’s summer event lineup.
