Experience autumn in Tivat

Tivat is not only a destination for summer, this is one of the coastal towns that has clothing for all seasons and is beautiful in every edition. In the period from October 31 to November 5, the 7th Children's Folklore Ensemble Festival is being held in Tivat. This event gathers a large number of young folklorists from all over Montenegro and is divided into four segments:

• art exhibition "Tradition and I",
• a workshop on making traditional jewelry and hairstyles,
• concerts of children's folklore ensembles and
• round table on "Folklore and tradition, heritage and children".

In the middle of December, that is, on the 14th and 15th, the Bokeški Marathon is held on Pine promenade. This is the largest multidisciplinary event of its kind in Montenegro, which has been held for the fourth year in a row. Competitors from over 30 countries take part in the marathon. Marathon involves four races:

• marathon,
• half marathon,
• relay marathon and
• five kilometer race.

This event brings together a large number of competitors and their accompanying guests. At last year's marathon, there were over 2.500 registered competitors.

There are many reasons to visit Tivat during autumn. Although it is considered one of the more expensive coastal towns, in this period you can find accommodation cheaper than in July and August. In addition to enjoying many activities on the water here, you can organize trips to Kotor, Budva, Perast, Lovćen and other places.
