It is the Kymco CV-X45, which is believed to be the production version of the CV-R5 concept presented at EICMA 2024.

CV-X45 brings together a scooter and an adventure motorcycle
Kymco designed the CV-R5 concept as a combination of scooter practicality and the character of an adventure motorcycle. The same approach is expected from the new CV-X45. The idea is to offer a comfortable automatic scooter for everyday riding while also providing the stability and sense of control associated with larger motorcycles.
The CV-R5 is expected to be equipped with a 427 cc single-cylinder engine developing 34.4 hp and 40 Nm of torque. It also features a CVT automatic transmission, upside-down front forks and a chain final drive, giving this model a somewhat different character compared to conventional scooters.
Modern technology and extensive equipment
If the production model retains the solutions presented on the concept, the CV-X45 should also offer plenty of modern technology. Among the most interesting features are the Ride-by-Wire system, different riding modes, traction control, Full LED lighting and a Smart Key.
It also features a TFT display with smartphone connectivity, as well as a tyre pressure monitoring system. Kymco also paid particular attention to practicality in the concept, with the under-seat storage space able to accommodate a full-face helmet.
When is the new Kymco arriving?
There is still no official confirmation of the exact launch date or price of the production CV-X45. Nevertheless, everything indicates that Kymco is serious about entering the increasingly popular ADV segment, so it will be interesting to see what the manufacturer prepares in the coming period.
